ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE

Saturday, NOVEMBER 4, 2017 @ 9:00 A.M.

At the well site located at 17710 Avenida De Augusto

The Arizona State Corporation Commission requires each corporation to have an annual meeting at which at least 51% of the members must attend.  Attendance can be in person or by proxy.  One vote per property owner is permitted.  If a quorum of at least 51% of the owners is not available by personal representation or by proxy, a fee of $25.00 will be levied on each owner not represented.

The status of the well and delivery system will be reviewed, a Treasurer’s report will be presented and Officers for the coming year will be elected/re-elected during this meeting.  Please remember that in the interest of saving money this Co-op is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors with the exception of Treasurer who receives compensation.  Volunteers help keep our water dues at a reasonable rate while not having to hire services outside of the Co-op.  If you are interested in participating in approximately four meetings per year as an Officer or Board Member, please contact one of the Board Members listed below.  We are currently seeking volunteers for President and Secretary board members.

We look forward to seeing you at this once-a-year meeting.  If you cannot attend, please mail the completed enclosed PROXY to the address above, or you may drop your proxy in the proxy pail that will be located at the entrance to the subdivision prior to November 4, 2017.  Feel free to bring a chair for your personal comfort as the meeting typically lasts approximately one hour.

If you have any questions regarding this meeting, please contact one of the Co-op Officers.

NOTE:  Every April, Arsenic filter replacements for the point-of-use systems must be completed.  This is a requirement of ADEQ and is a condition of service pursuant to the Amended By-Laws, Article III, Section 6c.  These filters must be replaced within one months’ timeframe according to ADEQ guidelines.  If this requirement is not met, water service to the noncompliant Member may be disconnected until the filter has been replaced, and a service re-connection fee of $30 will apply.  Also, ADEQ has the authority to levy fines and penalties on the VVDN Water Co-op if 100% participation is not met which will in turn be assessed to each Member not in compliance.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
